Wine, Women and Song

It's been a while. Hope the holidays were happy, mine were not too shabby. I am ashamed that I have neglected you of details about my life. More importantly, I have deprived you of anything constructive whatsoever. I started this blog on a whim (incited by IndieKid ). I planned for it to be a sketch journal, due to the fact that I am a moderate fan of Japanese animation and comics, and at the time I was a prolific, yet mediocre, artist. (Basically I drew alot of crap, with a few gems here and there.) When my drawing began to slow down, or just drop in quality, I made an attempt to turn the blog into my own personal review center. (I can review just about anything, but I stick with stuff I like) The entire time the blog has been it has still served another purpose to me and to me only as a cathartic escape. No matter how I used the blog, I always left my desk with a clear head. Much like how I will feel after this post.

I resume my (hopefully) regulated posting cycle with some general musings about a few that have gone on around me. First, I suggest you all hurry over to www.harveydanger.com and download their new album, "Little by Little". If anybody can recall the band, they might remember the song "Flagpole Sitta" the notorious "brat anthem" (I'm stealing that quote from another blog, I would link the guy, but I forgot the link, heh) Their style was unique, but to a fault, those I know who purchased the album liked only the aforementioned song and regretted their waste of money. I never got to hear much of their early stuff either, but I've heard that it was kinda "immature" in the fact that the vocals were not much more than shouting. But with this new album, they've shown a serious side, lyrics, vocals, and all. So I highly recommend you download the album now. (Wine, Women and Song would be the name of the first track)

I'm off sooner than I had hoped, as is always the case. And, as I always promise, more musings later...
